Does anyone know if they're going to do proper dlc playlists or just stick with the one because the idiots included snipers and SWAT in the mix so we're back to playing that all the time again.

To be fair, I only played five matches last night and four of those were SWAT or sniper, must have just been unlucky I guess. I intend to play a whole lot more tomorrow as it looks like we're getting snowed in at the moment.

The more I play them, the more I'm liking the new maps. They're certainly better than all the ones that shipped with the game and they're almost as good as the Halo 2 maps.

I loaned my copy to my flatmate in an attempt to persuade myself to play other stuff once in a while. I break up for christmas tomorrow for two weeks though so I'll have plenty of time to kill being crap at Halo, yay!

Well it looks as though the influx of christmas gift players has evened out the difficulty in some of the playlists. Whereas before Team Objective was often an exercise in getting your arse handed to you, Phong, Kyndig and I won about 8 in a row last night and not just won them, absolutely murdered our way through them. I think the highlight was an assault game on Swordbase where the other team didn't seem to realise they needed the bomb to attack us and by the time they went back for it we had it camped with drop shields and the sword.

I think there was only one game where none of our opponenets quit actually, it was a beautiful sequence of matches.

I played some Halo in the first time for ages the other day and I have to say that three a side multi-team is awesome, especially Rocket Hog Race. Griffball is always a laugh too and for once is a game mode in Halo I'm pretty good at.
