I thought it was confirmed that they were tossing, Ylink, Game & Watch, Ice Climbers and Pichu. A game with less characters than the game before it seems kinda sad. I know it'll probably have more, but still cut characters are no guud.

It certainly looks better than the old one did with the new Yoshi's island style graphics as opposed to the ugly yoshi's story junk.

Someone wanna clear up the music thing for me? They said that the soundtrack would be fully orchestrated but so far all we have is a bunch of synth samples. I'm guessing these are just tastes of the arrangements which will eventually be orchestrated?

I have no problem with synth, it does work better than orchestrated sometimes. But, they said it would be but so far all we've had is the title music.
I'd like to see it all orchestrated since it worked perfectly in melee.

I wish they'd go back to the way it was in SSB. Not so much the layout, but I thought having the characters animated, rotating and then doing a pose upon selection was pretty nifty.

Melee had 25 stages all together I think. If Brawl has more then I'm sure we'll see pelnt of platform variation, hopefully some diagonals. I miss the ones from Mario's level in the original SSB.

I'm guessing if you die you come back in armor but still not the best way to change your fighting style.

What I wanna know now is....so you use your final smash, your armor falls off, you pick up another final smash.....what happens?

ah ok my bad. I was going to check if that was the case but I was too lazy. I guess that cancels out the idea of Final smash item only matches.

If she is indeed the replacement for shiek that is a bit dissapointing, tournies will probably never see her thats for sure. Something tells me they'll definately have an option to just play as her.

So if they're will to go that far with a character, I wonder if anyone esle will have crazy changes like that.

In terms of music, I think the most memorable themes for players were the Grim Reaper theme and the Game Over theme.

For this arrangement, I had these themes incorporated.

What happens to the trainer when the pokemon is knocked off? Perhaps he shoots himself after seeing his pokemon die for him in battle.

Asuming down B is the pokemon switch command....does every pokemon have their own recovery move, b and forward b move? O.o Thats a lot of moves for one character. Make for some really interesting play styles....I think I might really like this guy.

ew friday my roommate said some magazine in japan announced sonic...and sora were showing up next in Brawl. I said, faggotry! When sakurai said non nintendo characters on nintendo systems in the past, I thought he meant PAST past. Not like GBA. So Sonic turned out to be true. Please god, dont let sora be true. Please tell me why it wont happen!

it is indeed! Its just missing that hilarious cave from the temple. I loved bouncing people around in that place. Gonna miss that.

I must say, I love how the adventure mode plays out with the transitions from cutscene to gameplay.

I doubt it would be...I was hoping it would. Like maybe uploading your own drawings somehow(kinda like worms) but I think it'd get way too messed up. What if you decided to fill the screen with black or if it was just scribbles everywhere. The platforms would probably be too crazy too play on. We can dream though =(

Oh there's a final destination. I'll call it Smash Stadium. The level in subspace where you fight Petey with the caged peach and zelda. I am just assuming of course...because of how final destination was introduced in melee. If you look at the level its just a simple wide flat platform.
