I beat it in 34 hours, 1 sitting. It was the japanese version and I dont know a word of japanese so that may have slowed me down a bit. It was on normal mode and I know I didnt beat it all because I didnt get the secret ending.

I dunno about that chin flesh on pete. It seems to change between hard and soft all the time. Sometimes it flaps around like a double chin..all blubbery. But then othertimes it'll stay still like its part of his jaw. I think the animator's should have studied the character a bit more or something.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Try putting the kingdom hearts 2 dvd into your ps2. Final Fantasy 7 isnt the same game.

I was lucky enough to have anti-form pop during xaldin, (that was also my first time seeing it so I didnt know wtf was going) that tore him up pretty bad.
I'm not finding proud mode that much more difficult. I guess the enemies do hit harder...when they hit, but that rarely happens.

He was a real bitch for me. I tried at Level 81 on proud mode. It took 10-15 tries to bag him, all I can say is load up on Hi-Potions and Elixirs, they help a lot here. Also know when to use Beserk Charge properly, meaning heal just before he reveals a weak point. Well applied, Beserk Charge can let you knock 1-2 life bars off of him before he gets out of your grip, make sure to glide away when he is using any special attacks (except for the triangle ones) and counter if that's impossible.
If you ever played against him on Kingdom Hearts 1, it's very similar; it's just he can hit you in the air and you can't heal as often. Fenrir made the battle worthwhile though, it easily is better than the Ultima Weapon, it can kill most enimies in one combo.

It just takes tenacity, balls and skill to beat him. If you've got 2 of 3, you could stand a chance.

Also reflect is your friend. if you spam it at the right times(right when he starts a long combo, when he does his fire pillars) you can take a good 2 bars off of him. Its kinda sad that he ends up killing himself. =O
