Product placement I believe is more common in Japanese games [Remember the FFIX CocaCola CM?] For us westerners, its more subliminal, and not exactly all "Ah ha! Snake drinks this energy drink! Drink it!"

I was just at my local Best Buy...and there was no one there. No one at all. I was the only one there, and im all "I guess im early". They didnt have the midnight opening, but they definitely have the machines with the game in. All I gotta do is get a flyer from walmart, and boom instant 100 giftcard. Maybe i'll get some other games, perhaps the ones that are cheap now like Vegas 1 and Timeshift.

Those commercials were weird at first. I heard about it, but I didnt think it would be like an actual channel surfing thing lol.

Anywho, I got my ps3 bundle along with the game. I actually havent really played it yet, I got passed the title screen and then went to take a nap lol. I did download two demos, Haze and Dark Sector both of which look really good. And being as someone who's last generation and just got the next gen system, i'm quite impressed lol.

Well, I beat the game last night...

All I gotta say, is what a well done game. It answered everything I questioned, and really gave everything closure.

As for the ending...

I honestly thought Snake would kill himself. If not to stop the virus in his body from becoming a plague, then to end the misery and pain he's felt for years. It was great to see Big Boss alive and give his 'son' a farewell, and bring things to a close.
