FFVII case...weirdness?

So I bought FFVII again on Ebay because I somehow lost my copy. I get it today and it reads "Square-Enix" on the case and CD's. Don't think I said anything but "WTF?"

Doesn't make sense. I thought they didn't merge until 2001.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I won it in a bid for $15. It's a greatest hits so I guess I can imagine they are still reprinting. What sucks is I lost my copy of Final Fantasy VI, and I am NOT paying 50 dollars for that game again. Guess FF7 exploded cause of the movie that was released. (Which I want to see) And when you make an acronym of AC, you say armored core, right? Can't tell you how much I loved that game.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Honestly I hope Square-Enix reprints a bunch of their games. I lost a lot of my PS1 games due to moving to Washington. Limited space. The only reason why I can see FF7 being remade is because of the response from the movie and everyones joygasm over Sephiroth. (Which I still don't understand. I'm glad that oversized nodachi son of a bish is only in one game)

There are plenty of PS1 games I wish I could get my hands on, but I was smart enough to forever cling to my Suikoden 2. Still amazes me how expensive it is..

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

The problem is when you get down to it there really aren't that many great PS2 games coming out anymore. Sure there are a few, but once you finish them that could be it. Depends on how much you really like it.

When you get someone in a situation like mine, it becomes hard & frustrating to get a game without spending $50+ just to play it again. I've lost a handful of PS1 games. Entire Breathe of Fire series, Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Megaman X's & Legends, Legend of Dragoon, Persona 1 & 2, Castlevania SOTN...the list only goes on. I want to play these games again except I don't want to pay more than I would for a regular PS2. I don't care if it says "Greatest hits" on the side either. It's in your collection except there is ugly green on it. That's not bad. The fact still remains that it spins in your PS2/PS1/PC/Laptop. We all have our own opinion, and I'm for one glad they have reprints. I'm having fun on FF8 again, don't know why but it just is.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

So Spirits Within, the movie, was not made until 2001. I frankly remember the movie was released on the Squaresoft name. So I guess it was in 2003. Seems like a long time ago though, I know what you mean.

Frankly I don't care about buying used games. Why? Don't feel like paying fullprice, or it's simply impossible to find in EBgames or something.

I was speaking idiomatically.
