Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu

In anger and a panic that lead to watching anime then more anger, I have found these boards to lack Hare and Guu here.Note: There was one thread here in the Video Requests.
ジャングルはいつもハレのちグゥ
Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu (created by Renjuro Kindaichi), which translates to "The Jungle was Always Nice then Along Came Guu," or shortened to "Hare+Guu," is a wonderful series brought to us by an-entertainment, Bang-Zoom Entertainment, and Funimation. There have been two OVAs released, "Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu Deluxe" and "Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu Final."

You could say Guu has a split personality.
What is it?

The surreal and outlandish comedy Haré+Guu introduces us to 10 year old Haré, a nice little boy who lives with his free-spirited young mother, Weda, in a small, contemporary jungle village. Haré's peaceful daily routine of school, video games, and housework is irrevocably altered when Weda adopts a seemingly innocent and charming little orphan girl named Guu.

After a fun first evening, Haré is shocked the next morning to find that Guu has dropped her pretense of sweetness to reveal her true mysterious and insidious nature. Guu, in fact, seems to be a mind-reading alien being that eats anything and has another entire dimension of off-kilter humans and bizarre animals living in her stomach! And her sole reason for existence is driving Haré crazy by constantly pointing out all of his character flaws and neurosis, wreaking havoc on time and space, and being an utter nuisance in the way that only a super-strong, short tempered, magic using and vaguely unsettling young girl of indeterminate age, origin and physical composition can be.

Created in 1997 by female manga artist Renjuro Kindaichi, the Haré+Guu manga serial continues to headline the monthly Japanese Shonen GanGan magazine. In April 2001, the comic was adapted into a television series that spanned 26 broadcast episodes and two made-for-home-video "OAV" series, all produced by the Shin'ei Doga production studio best known for the international smash hit anime comedy Crayon Shin-chan, and directed by Tsutomu Mizushima (Crayon Shin-chan, Genshiken TV, XXXholic.)
I've found myself laughing at this anime as much as I did watching Azumanga Daioh. They've found ways to make the recurring themes work well. I'm defenately looking forward to finishing this box set and adding it to my shelf of fame.

The Episode Names are reported to be as follows:
01. Begining Beginning / Start! Start!
02. Afternoon Nap Guu Guu / Siesta Guu Guu
03. Go With Chest Hair!
04. Good Morning Kiss / Morning Smooch

Since I have a plethora of DVD-Rs and most of you have mailing addresses.....

But yes, when I noted that my primary sources are unavailable, I was referring to boxtorrents being down. Seems that they reopened signups (I got in a few weeks ago) for the masses.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

After watching the show last night (I'm simply watching the DVDs as they're being released), I'd like to say the best episode thus far has been #8, "Angry Yamada" where
Spoiler:
Hare meets the suicidal girl inside of Guu after Guu and Gupta get into a fight

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Good news, everyone! A certain someone is making some Dual-Audio MKVs out of his DVDs this week.

I'll post torrent links when I finish them!

I was speaking idiomatically.

Gah...I'll have to post in tech support here to try to figure it out. I failed and succeeded at the same time. Lets just say that if you full screen this 400MB file, you have a very nice, high-quality copy of the first DVD. Nevermind the order of the chapters (the openings and closings). Some sync issues seem to pop up here and there with it.

Either way, as my first test, I technically have both audio tracks and both subtitles. Try, try again!

(Note: I want to do it now simply so you guys can hear how awesome Guu sounds in English)

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Well BestBuy released the fourth DVD of the series today. To my dismay, my store (which really SUCKS) is not going to carry the DVDs any more. It looks like I'll have to download the torrents to make some new MKVs.
