My roommate owns our 360 and hard drive. I want to get some DLC. Am I fucked once I get my own system?
Lets say I want to get songs for Rock Band. If I download them through my account---UGH! I don't know. Someone explain how the rights to paid DLC works and if its linked to the drive, the machine, the gamertag, or what. Also, aside from all of that, can I do a partial transfer using the transfer cable? Get my own drive and just move over MY content? Jam it back in, in the dark.

Well then would I be able to just re-download the content on my own drive if I purchased it on another? Trying to figure out whether the content is linked to the drive or the gamertag.
