Too much to change. Not gonna happen. Sure it could be ported using a GC-style control, but you won't see a Revolution tag on it.

Don't worry. They won't be changing it. They know its better to release it on the cube, as there are tons of people who would get it regardless, but don't HAVE to say "Well I need a Rev. for this." That's what Smash Brothers is for.

So this is how it would go:

"Okay guys, you know Twilight Princess we've been working on for several years?"
*A crowd of boys cream their pants*
"Well we're gonna make it pretty. Not Princess Peach pretty. Just...better graphics. While we're at it..." *A kid tallies every comment here, doing tons of math* "...we're going to write completely different controls, each which would vastly change the gameplay. But its okay, we'll still have it out in 7 months"

The kid looks up, "But sir, you're basically talking about rewriting the game. That would take years."

"Yes, you're right, but I can be very unrealistic with the release date expectations."

No, it is too late. It cannot and will not work like that.

You do know that there will be a traditional controller shell available, right? The above wouldn't cost much but it'd boost your sales something fierce.
There is still plenty to change that would push the date back more. I'm no expert on this, but I can assure that its gonna stay GCN. Besides, I'm pretty sure by E3 time, most people will have a pretty decent idea as to what they'll be saving money for (I will) and have titles in mind for certain consoles.

I was speaking idiomatically.

On second thought, do it and send in pics.

I'm pleased to announce there is a new breed of Nintendo fans:

Those who have been corrupted by the new craze for graphics graphics graphics and more graphics.

How about talking about the videos or interviews regarding the reliability of the horse? Perhaps the boss difficulties?

Would anyone like to remember that these aspects are what matters in a game?

Gameplay

Ask anyone who liked Wind Waker. They praised the actual aspects of gameplay not bitched about the cell-shading.

Ehh, still on topic of Zelda in relation to people complaining about the graphics. The looks of the games as far as "being cool" are in the eyes of the beholder. Maybe kids are just spoiled, but most adults are impressed with any modern game.

NO WAI!

That's far too logical. You've gotta either be for or against the game by these standards! GRAPIX or GAMEPLAI?!

I can't help but wonder if it's gameplay related how you will be able to control the game with the wand. Perhaps you move around with the nunchuck analog stick, then you hold down A or B to lock on to an enemy and wave the wand to slice and dice. Then you use the smaller a and b buttons to choose items and such.

Regardless, I look forward to this.
The delay was surely related to that. Almost no doubt.

But the question is: Does this make anyone who wants the game to say "Oh, November, NO WAI will I buy that!"

No. They'll still get it. Remember kids, Nintendo doesn't release it if they don't feel its a finished product. Let them improve it.

Nintendo's big in Japan, so I'd imagine they stick with Revolution titles there to keep the popularity.

Remember how pissed you were when you finished Metroid Prime/2 and you saw a big fat '99% Complete' next to your file?
*keyboard mash*

I dont think the completeness of the game relies on a different console, I think its just a slightly different style of gameplay and control.

New Twilight topic!

Boss Fights

They mentioned making things more difficult. Do you think they'll just "have more HP" or require difficult attack combos or what? I'm intrigued to know what they're doing to make these more of a challenge.

As long as there is no Water Temple.

Am I rite? Huh? Huh?!

I enjoyed the WW bosses. As long as the dungens aren't linear, I'm happy (eg: boomerang to open something in a temple to get the hookshot to get to the boss, etc.)

There's nowhere I can't reach.

That temple took me forever and then some. I think I saw the Gamecube release of Wind Waker finished before that temple. It was indeed a challenge, but god...damn.

Then drool and eat the pie...for Twilight is GREATNESS INDEED. But seriously, who would believe that BS?
