Wait, how you do know it recognizes the drive?

BTW: Win2K should by default do NTFS. Not sure why you chose FAT32.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Your problem isn't the OS's capability to read such drives, its the fact that NTFS was created for certain reasons. One of them is the incapacity of FAT32 to read certain-sized drives.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Cry. If you can't use your same methods to get the information off the drive, its gone.

There's a difference between seeing a drive and it being accessible. I have a 200GB in now. Its a functioning device, just not formatted. Save what you can and do it the right way, the safe way.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
