2:34PM: Virtual Console game pricing has now been officially confirmed. Iwata says the price of each game will start at 500 Yen, with SNES games going for 800 Yen, and N64 games costing 1000 Yen.

:25PM: 16 games will be available on launch day from 10 different publishers. Cost of the games will be as reported earlier, 4,800 to 6,800 Yen. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be a full price game at 6,800 Yen.

Regarding the Region-Free (Instantly making Gamecube mod chips obsolete) settings, it was confirmed that the 1st party games were. No word on 3rd party....but one thing's probably going to happen: Naruto imports. Oh yeah.

I got "the call" today. I recalled EB saying they weren't taking preorders yet on Zelda. I forgot I paid for the game in full in 2004.  Lukage has 8 copies of Red Steel also on reserve. 8 @ 50 = 400 1 @ 50 = 50 $450 to spend. 250 - Console 50 - Zelda 50 - Red Steel 60 - Extra Controller (I have Wavebirds) 50 - Rayman ------- $460 plus tax. Considering I'd get like 4 games...I need another $100. I get paid Friday. Bam! I save my next paycheck for a plethora of VC. Finished. There's nowhere I can't reach.

If there isn't a planned one, there will be a party held that weekend outside the store. It'll be nice. I'll get there so early that two lines will form. Wii. PS3. Although...the only...what, first 10 people for the PS3 line will make it worthwhile?

I've been paying off on my copies of Red Steel for weeks. I'm all paid for the console. Just reserve 5 copies of Red Steel and pay it in full...then when you can Pre-Order, you just move the titles to the console.
