I'm in an ongoing war with the store manager. I guess I can call the district manager and complain if I can get an employee there to say they've recieved them and sold them (he always tells me they never got any) and I've yet to recieve a phone call. He is the only one working there these days, I swears.

He's the same guy who never gives me the freebies when I get games that have them.

I'm on the good side of a specific employee, but the manager is the only one there when I call/show up. Not worth the trip there to the mall this time of year, so I need to just call instead.

(Yes, I have a Wavebird to use, but I should still have this controller)

Elebits is so freaking sweet. Unfortunately rooms are too small or there are too many objects in them, but the music is great and the use of the Wiimote is absolutely perfect!

You can use regular rechargeable batteries. I don't see why you'd need to buy some third-party batteries?

I can't find the source on it, but they do have deals with battery manufacturer(s) to promote sales.

See, if the Wiimotes used some non-traditional battery unit (not AA's), and it had some weird way of charging one at a time via USB or something, I could understand these. But when a controller can use NiMH just fine, why buy some other unneccessary device? (Even if you don't have rechargeable batteries, I suggest you get them rather than one of these)

I'd say it's more likely to be Half Life as Valve is simply porting an old HL2 title to PS3 and such, while they are making an Unreal Tournament game for the other systems.

Basically, I'm picturing Elebits right now for an easy visual. But a gravity/portal gun. *drools over Portal* With Nintendo having a so-so lineup for 2007 with the exceptions of a few games that we'd jizz our pants over (Mario, Metroid, Super Smash), I'm thinking some really cool titles like this are going to be announced later to trounce competition's release of some PC ports.

Oooooookay...it still appears in most other retail stores, but this I just don't understand. Nintendo has been shafting EB and GameStop stores with Nintendo products as of lately.

Just found out a few things about the Mii Plaza:

Your Plaza can only have 100 Miis.
You can only have 10 favorites.
You can't move Miis to the Parade..so if you want new ones or other ones from the Parade, you have to just delete Miis from the Plaza.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

GDC is just days away, and although there are fears that there isn't going to be the big push for "Okay, we're doing online play. Here's the deal...." much less any other *big* news, we should expect to hear SOMETHING from SOMEONE this week at GDC.
