For those asking about the channels, I too am disappointed to see that they're not yet functional.

Also on the virtual console, seems that most of them can NOT be played with a gamecube controller. Oh well.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I got a broken system. F-Zero sure does start up saying "Classic Controller Required" and any button-mashing I do on any other controller does nothing.

How ya doing, buddy?

My local Circuit City claimed to have them in this weekend. From what I've seen and heard, CC is the best bet as of now to find them. Alternatively, you can try to get your hands on a composite female adapter for the Wii and some old Gamecube composite cables and bust out the electrical engineering skills!

You're fucking kidding me?

I'll wait until whenever Nintendo gets their orders out.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

I just tested it out now by sending Jazzflight a pic and message.

If you don't know how:

1) Insert an SD card with photos stores on it (jpg).
2) Open Photo Channel and post them on your Photo Forum
3) Now they can be accessed in the Mail Channel
4) Click on the photo and just click on send and type a message as usual
to whom you'd like to send it to.

Let's star sharing pictures and stuff ^_____^
Realized that I should probably use a standard format...and that I need more than just a camera with SD memory to do so on the PC. Getting a SD reader soon.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Has anyone found out the deal with memory on the Wiimote? Go to your Mii Plaza and choose whatever that option is above Wii Friends and you'll understand.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Isn't it easier to just send it from one machine to the other online?

I believe you have to move them to the SD card and bring the card elsewhere. By default all games will save to the HDD.

NES and SNES adapters that go into the Gamecube ports. Somewhat expensive, but you can get the complete retro feel without blowing into cartridges!

On a less depressing note, I downloaded DKC and F-Zero today, both run in full screen. No huge SNES PAL borders. And the classic controller is fucking nice!
I read (and lost it) an article saying that the Freeloaders DID work...or at least in the American Wiis.

19 days and counting since I should have recieved my controller. My city has yet to recieve any classic controllers. Had to play Ecco with the Wiimote.

Actually it'd be nice to see Dreamcast games being released on the Virtual Console, but I just don't see it happening.
Considering the size of the games, I fail to see how a single one could fit on the memory capacity of the Wii.

There hasn't been any issue ever since, even if I move farther away, or the sensor-bar is a little off. Not sure what might have caused it.

Maybe it was an update, it will remain a mystery =o
I've found that moving AWAY from the Wii has actually helped that out a little bit, especially in games. Also I can guarantee that low batteries will give you this problem!

That golf games looks like fun. I saw it in the store during GFFMD, but didn't think much of it other than that HOLY CRAP IT'S PANGYA!
However, a wireless sensor might be what some people need to extend their reach.

Good News for Infernal Monkey!

FREELOADER!

Quote:
Datel is planning to release a Wii version of Freeloader, an accessory that allows you to play imported games! This is great news for those who were looking forward to region-free access on the Wii and to be able to play Japanese games that won’t see a day in the light in the Americas/Europe.

Anyways, Wii games in the US, what to get first, since my financial resources are rather tight right now. Zelda: Twilight Princess is a given. Now, one more game after that.

I'm considering Excite Truck, Red Steel, or Super Monkey Ball. Opinions? Thoughts? Suggestions? Other games possibly?
Trauma Center! Otherwise, Elebits seems to be the other must-have title. Second Opinion is much much better than the first one, I can guarantee it.
