I can't really see people lineing up for the Elite system, or at least not camping for it. Considering that there's no huge titles other then GH2 coming out any time soon, anyone who would want the system would have gotten it by now. That and the fact that the Elite is more money, it's not like it's going to be a very convincing sale, if anything it's just closed the gap betweethe 360 and PS3 by a fair amount, both in features and price. I'm sure it'll create a sale spike, but there won't be that many more then the usual amount of new adopters, and a majority of sales will just be people trading up.

You can't trade in a 360, for an elite. EB/gamestop are actually making you take in cupons to trade in your 360 (with or without a HD) fro $200~$250 and the original xbox for $100. So you can buy the elite for $500, minus the trade-in you just did. Without the cupons, it's like $100 for the 360, which is totall bull.
But like you've said, if someone wanted a 360, they've already gotten it. You might as well just buy the 120GHD for $100 then the whole new system. But I want it for the HDMI, and obiviously the memory (I barely have 5 left). Plus my disk tray isn't working properly anymore so it'll be nice to be able to play without pressing eject 20 times to open or close.
How ya doing, buddy?
