Let me tell you, it's not a "day off from work." Its about 6 hours of sitting and waiting, literally being locked into a room with a huge amount of other people. Usually with something annoying on the TV. You can't leave the room - not even to smoke. (You all can IMAGINE how well I did with that). You have a bathroom facility in the giant waiting room, but its seriously not fun.
And the trials aren't like they are in the movies. They're a lot slower, a lot dumber, and they lack the drama.
I've been on duty only once. I was excused for my beliefs on animal rights.

Yeah, I doubt I'd care. I'm locked in a room and can't leave with a bunch of people for
eight hours at work, and they're all old, fat, and smelly. Change of scenery at least.
As to the rest: yes I know ;(
There's nowhere I can't reach.
