The animation looks fantastic in this trailer. Yeah, the models of the rats look slightly out of place in such a realistic environment, but I think it'll be really funny. Really the key to a great animated movie like this is the story, and Pixar usually does a great job hiring good writers. It's just too bad that Joe Ranft died. Hopefully Brad Bird will do well at the directing helm for this one.

I just got back from seeing Cars and I really don't understand the poor reviews. It was very predictable, but still a great flick. The voice acting was top notch. The entire time I found myself breaking down the procedural textures of the cars in my head. The tributes to the other Pixar movies at the end was priceless.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
