Finding a job where you don't have to deal with people head-on may be a little difficult to find. If you don't mind chatting with people, you could become a consultant for an on-line company. Where did you travel to? This could be a plus to place on your resume in order to show that you have experienced life and can relate to people of other cultures.
Do you like playing with the hardware and software of computers? There's supposedly a lot of money in computer repair--depending on what you charge--and there are towns where one computer repair shop holds a monopoly over the whole town. You could start by taking some community college courses in technology and/or become certified in programs such as A+ or C++ (or whatever the current equivalent is to C++).
Do you have any other hobbies or preferences?
Jam it back in, in the dark.
