It depends on their attitude at the time. If they are excited and it's the kind of, "Look at what I just learned how to do!", then it's cool. However, if the person sounds more like, "I can do this better than you can" then I get annoyed. I don't mind show-offs as long as they are not persistent about showing off their new talents everyday and as long as they are not trying to belittle others.
