Actually, you'd be surprised how much freedom the prisoner's get. They are allowed some internet access depending on the prison, but it's suppose to be monitored. However, b/c of the "christian conversion"
scam story and/or b/c some law enforcement officials try to be all buddy-buddy with the inmates, there may be a possibility that he was about to actually use the site himself. However, as someone mentioned before, it may have been a buddy that did it, but I wouldn't doubt it if he were allowed on the internet. Heck, some are even purposely trained in prisons to fix computers and network problems.
