The alien queen would've been crushed by the pressure under the sea as she was weighted down by that scaffolding stuck on her. Anyway, the first film was a real let-down because the trailer showed us predators facing off against swarms of aliens running up a pyramid, and in the film itself that was just a short flashback. There was a lot of inconsistency in how the predators fought the aliens. Sometimes they'd be easy to kill, other times they'd be impossible. In the games, a predator can kill hoards of aliens with enough skill, so this just seemed like a lame attempt to balance them out. The acting was hammy and awful too.
I wouldn't watch a sequel after seeing what these bastards did with the first one.
