I can tolerate both just fine, which is why I can get by wearing T-shirts all year round. Of the two, cold is easier to deal with because you can always warm yourself up through physical activity, whereas with extreme heat, there's really nothing you can do to help yourself. Cold air keeps me alert, while hot humid air makes it very difficult to breathe.
