Well, there are things like this:
http://www.jmldirect.com/product.php...FQZcMAodQ3pKjQ There is also a chemical substance they sell in electrical shops in the tools section that drastically increases the grip between a screwdriver bit and the screw head if a drop is applied to the damaged screw, although at the moment I can't remember what it is called >_<.
