Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (beta)

Yeah, that game.

So anyway, since a few people seem pretty excited over it, I thought we could try to get a playing group together. We have several GFFers playing the beta already, so if you'd like to join, mention it here along with your user name, when you'd be available to play, and preferably your xfire name and which class/role you play as in the game (if applicable). We'll try setting up dates and times to play and get a list compiled of all those that are playing it.

If you haven't played Quake Wars much (or at all) yet, I'd suggest you look over the newbie guide to the game to learn the basics. More information can be found in the other Quake Wars thread. If you've played Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory or Battlefield 2/2142, you should be able to get a grasp on this game pretty quickly. Luckly, there's a pretty functional friend/messaging system built in (although no voicechat), so once you have other members on your list it should be pretty easy to join them.

The game is currently only available in closed beta, with keys being given out to Fileplanet subscribers. If you don't have a beta key, but would still like to try it with your fellow GFFers, send me a PM and we should be able to work something out.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
