Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth

I'm looking forward to this one.
It's requirements shouldn't be that high at all (given the project's age and the impression we get from the screenshots) and I heard the experience is pretty immersive due to the hud-less interface and good sound effects. On top of that it's based on Lovecraft's work, what more could a horror fan ask for? (Eternal Darkness rocked. )

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Sure, since both are based on Lovecraft's story. "The Thing That Should Not Be" is about Cthulhu as well.

My enthusiasm is fading ... the goodamn program crashes when switching tasks - no quick replies on ICQ or anything like that possible - and Slayer X didn't lie about the insane difficulty level. Even as a seasoned game I still have not beaten the very 1st actual action sequence (the hotel escape).

But apart from the task switching issue, it runs very stable.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
