Sticky rice is commmonly eaten by Koreans and Japanese. The rice you are talking about is "fluffy" right? Well that's why in Chinese movies, when they eay rice they put their bowl put their bowl up around to their chest. (So rice doesn't fall down from their chopstick.) And I don't know why Japanese does it when they got sticky rice... must be custom or something.
