Also, I get a lot of rips uploaded to my FTP from different kinds of people, which nobody might know about (because the ripper doesn't really make it openly available). I could help out with this and make sure that I add new rips that I get to this database! (and if we get more help from other FTP owners with this then this could definitely be a succes). I do have a problem if people add rips which don't have specified tracktitles (or other info) or if someone just did a piss-poor job on a certain kind of rip. (no editing, no loops etc etc). Jam it back in, in the dark. |
(Like I did with my extraction rip of Conker Live & Reloaded) I can understand that some people may find this to be too much of a hassle, but i'm just a perfectionists about these kind of things. ![]()
Some people obviously just want the music "no matter what". On the other hand I can remember trying out one of his rips (I believe it was Alias The Game)...and the sound quality was just horrible. If you're ripping then at least make it so that it's listenable. I don't know if it would really matter if those kinds of rips would need to go into a different category. The idea of this site is to see if a rip is available for a certain game. And if you're saying that rips without tracknames and such should be included then it's just of secondary importance. (the person can decide for himself/herself if they're gonna get the rip or not...based on the info given on this site) There's nowhere I can't reach. |
