You know, I don't even remember ever seeing lunatics takes off. The reason something become popular its because it actually brought something unique and relavent to the table, not just rehash of old licences in new dresses. Personally, I think this is rather insulting to the mental conpacity of the viewer now a days, and not even a anime spin is going to save this one.
