I've never gotten in trouble for browsing stuff I wasn't supposed to. It's fucked up, but one time I was caught looking at porn and my mother walked in. She said "It's ok, don't be shy."
I aws using my mother's computer up until something like 2004. Or was it 2003? Either way this computer of mine now is a few years old. Browsing on her $3000, 400 MHz, Pentium 2, 64MB RAM computer on 56k (up until DSL was available in NZ, which was like, 2002) computer since 1999 wasn't all that fun. In fact, it only had 8 GB.
She'd still delete unnecessary files manually from it though. Each day she'd search for what's been seen and delete it. Before she discovered the "drag to select multiple items" thing, she did it ONE BY ONE. Right clicking and deleting every single file individually which wasn't supposed to be there.
Cookies, gone. Websites, gone. Everything would be gone unless I made a folder for it, or something. Nothing was private. Eevntually I became sick of it and when I finally had enough money, I bought my own computer.
Shortly after I got a job at an internet cafe.
God people look at some sick shit in public places. Furry, bdsm, guro, child porn, the lot. Everything is recorded from all 32 computers we had there, minus the work computer I had and 2 others for staff members. A whole bunch of people got in trouble and were permanently forced to keep away from the building for their browsing. Memberships (we had yearly memberships, so the more you were there the cheaper the hour it'd be) were disabled too. I mean after all we didn't want to be liable for some kid walking past someone browsing on a public computer and seeing goatse.
How ya doing, buddy?
