[General Discussion] Dumb, dumb, dumb.

The first Silent Hill 3 puzzle fucked me over for days.

Spoiler:

There's a bunch of books on the floor of a bookstore which you pick up, and written on the back of the books are numbers. There's also a riddle on a sign near a door which says "Put these out of order."

So of course I inspected the books, wrote the numbers down, tried it on the number pad on the door. Didn't work. Hell, I even restarted the game a couple of times in case it was a glitch.

But no, the numbers are given to you once you PUT THE BOOKS BACK ON THE FUCKING SHELF. You don't inspect them or anything like that. Blatantly obvious shit which I didn't think of for the longest time.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
