Not getting either; not interested.
Because there's no "Will wait 6 months until there's games/newer models of the consoles" option. I don't really mind since I have an endless log of games which I need to complete, plus there's enough to keep me occupied on the PS2 and DS for a very long time. At most I'd consider a PS3 possibly around this time next year. Jam it back in, in the dark. |

The PS3 isn't out here until March '07, though. Wii hits in December here. I don't see the sense in buying a console's first version, because usually they're the ones which can't be modchipped. Usually they're the ones that have problems, because there's only so much you can get out of beta testing. It's better to wait until it's been out for awhile, and problems are encountered. Then they'll get on with fixing them, and possibly release an updated version of the console. THEN I'll get one. Most of all I'd rather wait for an array of games. There's only a couple of launch titles I'd bother with on each console, but that isn't going to keep me entertained for long. No, what I want to see is what both consoles have to offer post-launch. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
