Problems in Photoshop

Alright. This has been pissing me off for far too long and I need a solution sometime soon.

Whenever I save a signature as (save for web) a jpeg, and open it again in photoshop, the background color is 141A4E instead of 14194E. If I save it as a PNG8, it turns into 10184A. It's also 10184A if saved as a gif.

Of course, I don't want to save it as a gif, because the quality will be shit. I want to know how I can save images as jpegs, which will be 14194E after I've saved them. Currently they're turning into 141A4E after being saved into jpegs.

I've installed the latest photoshop and it's still doing the same thing. Additionally, 14194E seems to work if I save in PNG24, but that's hopeless for large images because of the file size.

Also, there's nothing wrong with my current ava/sig set, but it looks misplaced in IE, but I suppose there's nothing that can be done about that.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

This is trash.

It sucks because I have next to know experience with actual transparancy and I don't want to end up using fuckin' gif. There's always a quality loss when you use transparancy.

How ya doing, buddy?

Right now I'm using 9, previously I was using 8 and it happened with both of them.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Yeah well, it looks fine in firefox. But my current signatures are saved as PNG24's, which means having larger signatures would be pretty much impossible because of the file size they'd be.

I know it's possible to save jpg's as 14194e and have them stay that way, or at least I'm pretty sure it's possible. It's not my current ava/sig that's the problem, it's saving them in general.

Also, saving as a .gif results in the background changing into 141C4D, so, uh..

I was speaking idiomatically.

Yeah. Well. I've been up for hours trying to figure this out, and there hasn't been a proper solution. I'd really like to know how others are saving/having jpg signatures with 14194E, because whatever I do compresses it into 141A4E, which is pretty annoying.

I'm too tired to mess around with gif at the moment. But I'll try it out when I wake up. I'm well aware transparancy also works for PNG8, but I'm pretty sure it's a worse quality than gif. I can't say for sure.

Anyway, I'll mess around with gifs later. Right now I can't seem to find a solution though.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
