Establishing an IP address for port forwarding
I moved and my roommate uses a different router from the one that I used to use. Now I can't figure out how to set up my TCP/IP settings so that I can connect to the internet and make use of the ports that I want forwarded. The router address is 192.168.0.1. Can I get some help?

Additional Spam: So I followed what you guys said to do and it still didn't work. I tried following the guides at: http://www.portforward.com/networking/static-xp.htm http://www.portforward.com/english/r...4/Utorrent.htm Here's my current internet settings from ipconfig:  and a screenshot from the control panel stuff:  Here's what uTorrent tells me:  I don't know what to do at this point. I can connect to the internet fine, but my ports just don't seem to be forwarded. I'm connected to the router via an ethernet cord and there is a Powerbook G4 12 inch connected via wireless. What am I doing wrong? Could it be getting blocked somehow by my modem? It's a SpeedTouch 516/536/546[i] v6 Multi-User ADSL2+ Gateway This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
