I like how the Habs are on an 8 game winning streak. Cristo-WALL Huet is awesome.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Meh, he made us win against the Sens the other day. He's alright I guess.

I like how the Habs defeated Ottawa twice in a row, and we didn't even have Cristo-wall Huet in net.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Can someone tell me why Buffalo has had the Habs number this season? We lost to them again. Annoying.

I like how the rangers got raped. Also, Montreal's up 2-1.

EDIT: 4-1 now, we better not blow our lead!

FINAL SCORE: HABS 6 - CAROLINA 1

How ya doing, buddy?

Guys, serious question here - should I buy some scalped playoff tickets off of a friend for Carolina @ Montreal? I'm really tempted, but I've got finals...

I agree with Skate, full team OT is a must for games in the playoffs. It just wouldn't be the same without it.

What is this. Fucking ref makes a horrible call on some tripping giving Carolina the 5 on 3 and now they scored. BS.

HABS WIN BITCHES

Ryder came through in the end to give us the win. We're 2-0 in the series now and the next game is at home. I'm seriously considering scalping tickets. The atmosphere is going to be CRAZY. Montreal is THE hockey city.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

LOL. What a loser. I think that he was just looking for something to do besides let pucks in the net.

Montreal people will hate hockey? You obviously don't understand what hockey means to this city.

Of those fans, Montreal fans are THE most loyal fans. Shit, we riot here when we win Stanley Cups. You can't top that.

Quote:
MONTREAL (CP) - The Montreal Canadiens will have to try to win without their hard-luck captain. Saku Koivu remained in hospital Thursday, waiting for swelling and bleeding in his left eye to subside so that tests can be taken to determine the exact nature of his injury and how long he will be out of action.

He will miss Game 4 of the Canadiens best-of-seven NHL playoff series with the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday night at the Bell Centre and may be gone for the rest of the series - or longer.

Bob Gainey, the Canadiens general manager and coach, did not sound optimistic as he updated the media on Koivu's condition. He said it would be two or three days before doctors can start taking tests on the eye.

"He's not available to us for an undetermined time," said Gainey. "I can't put a date on when he'll be back."

He was unable to say if Koivu's injury was similar to the one suffered by Columbus defenceman Bryan Berard, who missed the 2001-01 season after a high stick cost him the sight in one eye, or whether it was one that would heal with full vision restored.
