The reason that JP3 was better than JP2 was because, in some twisted way, it followed the Lost World novel better. I don't know why or how, but it did.
The Lost World: JP2 was a gigantic problem in my life when I was in 6th grade (or whenever it came out), because I basically worshiped Jurassic Park after 3rd grade. I loved the Lost World novel, and was totally hyped when they were going to make a movie. Then I saw it, and my world crashed down  . I bitched for 3 years about it.Also, I think the moviemakers have Jurassic Park confused with The Land Before Time. If they make a fourth one, that will confirm my theory. Jam it back in, in the dark. |

Ah, that's right. It's been a lo~ong time since I watched the movies or read the books
 .I still find it really insulting that Spielberg would go to the trouble of requesting/suggesting that Crichton write the sequel -- only to completely rewrite it and use the book as a 'loose outline' when they made the film version.  There's nowhere I can't reach. |
