It's ironic because my roommate was just telling a friend of mine, "I can't believe how different our tastes in music are!" -- to which I responded, "Well to be fair, I like all of
your music, but you don't like mine."
Which is true. I like Mexican pop/rock. I like Enya and Enigma. And I like opera. I also happen to like Norwegian rock, symphonic metal and weird crap in German. So what. Personally, I think I have
fantastic taste in music, and for a lot of stuff I like, if somebody says they don't like it, I'll accept it. I don't expect everyone to be able to take underground hip-hop/grunge opera German-Russian fusion like Parzival.
There's only a few groups that I feel are just *that* good that I really can't take somebody saying that it's not (depending on the person, of course... I have friends that only listen to emo-rock, and I don't expect them to actually like Kaizers Orchestra or anything of real quality).
Right now I had to find the right songs to convince a friend that Muse is most definitely
not shit. Because I really think he should like them. He likes Kaizers Orchestra, so I was confident that I could get him to warm up to Muse. I succeeded.
Really, I just want somebody to go to SXSW showcases with

.

Hey, I like HIM just as much as any other group. Valo has a nice voice. Sure, he could mix up the lyrical content now and then, but it's a great band for being mainstream.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
