Scarily enough I have no idea what my energy consumption is. It's all inclusive in rent, and because my rent hasn't changed since I moved in I guess the price hasn't gone up either. I'm going to have to ask someone about this.
I try my best to keep energy use down. I've got energy-saving lightbulbs, I never put anything on standby; even the shower and the hob are on separate switches which I keep off unless I'm using them. I wash clothes at 40 degrees and only wash things when I have a full load. My computer is on for about 7 hours maximum a day, and that's only on bad days. My only concerns over usage would be the boiler and the fan which I have been using over the past month. My flat gets direct sunlight pretty much all day and although closing the curtains helps, the windows have bars on them which means they only open about three or four inches, which makes this place feel like a furnace on hot days. I can either use the fan or I can get heatstroke, those are pretty much my only options if I have to stay indoors.
