I always wait a while before buying anything new. For instance, bluetooth wasn't a necessity for me when it first came out but when my old phone broke I traded it in for one with bluetooth. I'm not fussed really, it just depends on what I need, and if there happen to be some cool additions to the equipment I'm buying then all the better. If not, what I have will do.
