I don't bother with wipes;In the kitchen I just use a cloth soaked in washing-up liquid for work surfaces and I mop the floor. In the bathroom it's liquid cleaner all the way.
Actually I don't think I've ever seen powder cleaner; my mother always used liquid cleaner so I just used her techniques. Jam it back in, in the dark.
