Richard Hammond's quick recovery won't delay the debate to take Top Gear off the air. It's brought to light a whole ugly mess of safety check shortcuts. Would you want to drive a Vampire at 280mph after only a couple of hours pissing about in one? I know I sure as hell wouldn't. If they tightened the safety of the crew and the presenters it would stay, so it's up to the producers and the BBC now. I hope Hammond hasn't done any serious or lasting damage =(
As for the show itself, I've been watching it for as long as I care to remember and I've always found it entertaining. I was never too keen on the way Clarkson puts people down but I still think he's funny and a good presenter. Jam it back in, in the dark.
