My favorite boss fight of all time is right in my username. Maybe he was more of a miniboss, but still. The arena was beautiful. It wasn't your typical dark abyss, it was a shallow, flat lake, with a bit of land in the middle, and the entire arena faded away into endless light. I'd done a good bit of gaming before then, but I'd never come across any sort of doppleganger fight before, so this was new to me. The fact that he wasn't an exact carbon copy of you, and was shadowy was pretty cool....who is link really fighting here? Where's the real struggle.

Ok, maybe that's putting more story into OT than there really was, lol. But Dark Link from Ocarina of Time is probably always going to be my favorite boss.

But yeah, I was pretty surprised to have an extremely awesome enemy to fight in an area that was very serene and peaceful otherwise. The only thing it really needed to make it ultimate was some amazing music instead of the standard miniboss fight music.

--------------

Shadow Ganon comes right up there too as far as cool bosses. Leaping in and out of pictures, and then you had that insanely fast tennis ball match that made the real gannon look like a pansy. Creepy outfit. The works.

Argh....Koume and Kotake were so awesome too...such an AMAZING and memorable soundtrack for that fight too, I always hated that you couldn't go back and fight them again. Just the entire dynamics of the fight were really sweet, the whole fire/ice ordeal.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

This is the best picture I can find.

You never played Mega Man III? Or for that matter, The Adventure of Link?

Spoiler:
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I never made it that far in Adventure of Link. Stupid Gooma. Anyway, Dark Link is the final boss of Adventure of Link.
I was never a megaman person . Yeah, I know, may God strike me down, and all that crap, lol. I didn't ever start playing megaman until after OOT, I'm kind of backwards that way =/. I like megaman a lot . But I don't think I've actually finished any of them =/.

Never finished Zelda II =/. I could never bring myself to, it's the one Zelda that I think is crap. Thankfully they decided to turn a different direction.

So it looks like I missed out on a lot of doppleganger fights . lol

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Then Vol Opt comes along, hitting you with missiles, trapping you in rocks, and bringing the entire damn room down around you, and you're like "WTF VISTA BETA SUX." And then you remember that the don't run Windows in Ragol, and something else was causing their computer to go HAL on you, but still.
I'd like the second this. As well as add that the music for that fight was pretty sweet. It was energetic without being extremely overpowering, and really kept up the beat with the fight.

Spoiler:
If you ever beat the GCN version on Very Hard, Ultimate mode redoes each level with different enemies and different bosses. The boss for the forest mode on ultimate is an ice version of the fire dragon for the other 3 difficulty settings, and is really a pretty sweet and difficult fight. Be sure to bring some scape dolls

How ya doing, buddy?
