I was going through my emo phase around the time of the prom. I kind of regret not going now because I know it would have been fun to go with some of my friends and just chill.
I did have the money, and possibly even the car if I had really wanted it, but no GF. And the self-centered, the-world-revolves-around-the-poor-ole-emo-me thing doesn't sit very well with dates, so ... It's nothing major actually. I wish I had gone, but then again, I'm glad it contributed that much to my emo phase and I went through it and learned something from it. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
