[Multiplatform] Official Final Fantasy XIII Thread

I can't wait to see more of this game. I'm crazy excited right now. The only thing that will get me more excited is seeing the next GTA.

Being that the game is called FF Versus XIII, and it will be created by the Kingdom Hearts team. What if really stands for Final Fantasy Versus Organization 13(from KH2). Stupid Random Thoughts, I know. But that actually makes more sense than Final Fantasy Versus the Number 13.

My sister made the exact same joke (seriously, she says "I'll be 30 by the time it comes out."). I do share her concerns, but the game has been in development since FFXII's repeated delays. I like to play the optimist and think we might get it by next year. It's not like Square delays EVERY game....right?

I wish you were right about FFXIII being in production for a long time now, but you are wrong. In the Square Press Conference a yesterday, Yoshinori Kitase said that they were originally making the game for PS2, but were then assigned to make the PS3 FF7 Tech Demo for last year's E3. After that, they completely started from scratch on a creating FFXIII for PS3 on a whole newly created game engine. So it's only been in development for 1 year really. It may not be out for a few years. I wish they would work on it 24/7, that would be nice.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
