I definitely need to research into this emulator software. Of course it should've existed, I can't believe I didn't research it when I grabbed a copy of Oregon Trail.
As much as I love the game, it's damn hard when all the stupid animals zip by your screen and it takes like 5 bullets to shoot one of those damn buffalo. Of course, it makes for quick games of the Trail. Still, I've enjoyed indulging in the past every now and then. Some of the best times I spent in elementary school was playing Oregon Trail (when we were "allowed", sometimes we've have to play a math game or something like that). That damn mini-game where you go down the river at the end is still just as scary as it was back in the day. Most amazing jew boots |
