You just HAD to bring up my favorite topic... People like that infuriate me to no end. Although it was good to see some people coming to the aid of one of my favorite hobbies, but some of them should just have kept their opinions to themselves.

Well, it's time to get back on topic. Thankfully most of my DM have been fairly nice... Scary, but nice. I am planning on running a game soon, and have quite a few things planed for them. :asthanos:
I was planning on having them run an "errand", then curse them and bind their souls to some crystals seals that hold a powerful blackguard prisoner and tell them the only way they can spar themselves from having their souls devoured when they die is to smash all of the seals. But don't tell anyone, it’s a secret! IF they find out before they can break all of the seals then how do they remove the curse? Becoming vampires is one way, but uh oh! Can someone say vampire hunter? :lolsign: Oh I can't wait to start!

I like to use 4d6 for stats my self.
I was thinking about using the spell point system from UA. Does anyone here have any experience with that spell system? If so, I would like to know what you thought about it.

It’s a butt load of RPG podcasts, and I am addicted in the worst way.

I'm having trouble figure out how to make an impact with the soul stealing curse. I was thinking about having to sacrifice a little girl, but I feel that it would be a bigger blow if they know the girl somehow. I was going to use that little girl from "fist of the north star" as a starting point and flesh her out from there. The thing is, I don't know what her relation to the PCs should be. How should I introduce her so that her death will have the most effect on their motivation?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Well I have never seen the movie or played the game. The only advice I might be able to give is to check out Heroes of Horror. You might also want to incorporate the sanity rules from UA also. Nothing says loven' like scaring your pc into a cationic state.:biggrin:

Well if you are using psionics then I say go with a Psion Telepath. But most people don't like psionics...:doh:
Rogues and bards are the obvious choice. Paladins and Knights (PHB 2) may give you a chalange and some good role playing fodder.
