I too enjoy Tori Amos, not for her lyrics, but her performance on the piano.
But this is the killer: There's this obscure 80's British pop artist named Toyah Willcox that me and a friend have been obsessed with for awhile. Well, my sister, my friend's girlfriend, and one of her male friends all got in my car to go to Taco Bell. Lo and behold, Toyah was ready in my CD player. I tried to turn it off, but the girls were like "no, we wanna hear your 80's stuff!". It was pretty embarrassing, because I knew they thought it was awful euro-pop trash. I tried to talk over Toyah; but she killed all conversation! Jam it back in, in the dark. |
