In regards to FF, i think it is very much situational and varies game to game. But, it also depends on the AI thats implimented and used in the game itself.
For Example: Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion- In this game you sometimes have to wonder into caves or close quarters with AI friends assisting yout along the way. They tend to always run ahead of you as soon as they see somthing and block your path when you try to attack or range the enemy. If you hit them (which is often the case) they could turn on your or if they are in your guild, end up getting you expelled. In this game i think there should be FF if there were competent AI, but because that is not the case it should not be allowed here, due to how often and unavoidable it is. Jam it back in, in the dark.
