Displaying new posts.

It's hard to explain the problem, but I'll give it a try.

As most of you know, new posts that have been made since your last visit have a small colored square next to the time that it was posted. Now the problem is, if a thread has more pages with new posts, the last page will have the colored squares, but on the pages before that, the new posts don't have that colored square anymore, and it's just greyed out, making it difficult for people with a weak memory like me to see what posts are new and which ones are not.

I haven't noticed this until recently, is it a problem on my side, or are others also experiencing this?
