Yeah, in fact I posted during the previous Battle that I had to turn up my system volume in order to listen to the nominations. With the volume nerf plenty of songs lose their intended effect.
Relative song volume should be taken as an individual quality rather than noise to be filtered out. After all, you're not grouping all these tracks on a single medium for regular listening. Jam it back in, in the dark. |

Here's the thing with mp3gaining; our embedded Flash player (or your choice of mp3 player for those who download the tracks) has a volume slider. If a track is too loud for your taste, you can always slide it down. With gain reduced tracks however, after maxing the player volume I still have to turn to the system volume slider.
