Maybe this is the only reason why I'm glad to live in such a secluded place. A city with 200,000 residents, and everyone is nice for the most part. What I find eerie is the fact that my city has the highest crime rate in all of Canada. Yet I've never been mugged/beat up, or whatever. Never. Seriously, WTF. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Vancouver is awesome, even at night. You could walk past anyone, even in downtown, and everyone minds their own business and leaves you be (sure, we get the occasional "can you spare change?" from homeless people, but that's common). I was freaked years ago when I went to Vancouver for the first time, but, I eventually got used to it, and it seems like a good city to live in.
One day, just two weeks ago when I was there, we were walking downtown on a residental street, and we could overhear some lady bitching to her boyfriend about how he was cheating. And she was loud, too. You could hear her from half a block away. But otherwise, nothing's happened to me there. scotty; Davie? Broadway? Arbutus? Burrard? ;_; There's nowhere I can't reach. |
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
