[General Discussion] FFVII Compilation Thread

When Advent Children came out over here, I went round the shops the day after looking for a copy to buy, and every shop had sold out, on both the DVD and UMD. It wasn't until about 2 or 3 weeks after that I was able to get a copy, so it couldn't have sold too bad.

I can't help but feel that Square-Enix would be doing Sony a huge favour if they announced Final Fantasy VII - Teh uberz rEmake!21. It would boast sales of PS3 straight away with people thinking about 2 Final Fantasy XIII games and a FFVII Remake.

Ohh yeah, can you buy those custom swords for the Advent Children figures? I bought the Cloud figure yesterday to go with the Sephiroth figure I got ages ago, but I'd love that custom multi sword

Ahh the Squall figure is awesome, I will deffinitly get it, and I might get Vincent, though his cloak is kinda gay ¬_¬ I really want a Reno and Rude double pack though, that would kick ass. Next figure i'm getting though is this Dante figure >.>

I left mind on till about 5am when I couldn't sleep cause the computer. It's been on since about 12am today and is at 51%

What they did with Gackt's theme song is something i'm wondering. He can sing in English, and in the intro they showed in the gamespot review which included ALL english version footage, it said "Theme Song - Gackt" so my guess is he is still in there with an English version of Redemption.

Redemption played during the end credits in the Japenese version, with his other song, Longing, playing during gameplay abit before the end.

Well, I loved the original release so i'm guessing i'll love this, especially now I can understand the menus. Was Gackt's songs in English or Japenese?

I've been playing it for an hour and I can say that the improvments are well worth it. The game feels much faster, the aiming seems better, and the game over all seems harder.

The only thing I can see that would mean we could see Weiss as the end is either if Weiss himself was pissed at mankind and wanted to kill everything, or because Weiss is the "human" version of Omega, as Vincent was of Chaos, so he could be seen as the brain or whatever I guess

And anyone else HATE the voice for G, really, that accent, he didn't even say the lines to well ;_;

I want a remade Vincent figure, the Advent Children figure just doesn't cut it. The figure should have a material cloak, not a plastic one, infact, I might but the Vincent figure and just make a cloak.

You're right though SOLDIER, getting to the Shinra building was like a wave of nostalgia. Dirge is great for that. Good times.

Edit: Ohh yeah, if you collected the G files, one of them hints toward Crisis Core's story (well, part of it)

It said something about a Soldier 1st Class having an assignment to follow/find out more about him, i'm guessing that'll either be Sephiroth or Zack or maybe Zack's mentor? and will be covered in Crisis Core.

There is a picture on Wikipedia of Angeal looking up and lots of feathers floating down. In the hidden G ending, when he begins to fly away, there are alot of feathers floating down

Vincent to be Sephiroth's father. Vincent and Lucrecia could have done it during the picnic and it would have been a great story "HOLY CRAP" point. Might have even sold this many [------] copies of Dirge.

But ahh well.

Dirge is out done...when's the next piece of this Compilation coming? Is it Crisis Core or Before Crisis? And they better bring Before Crisis to the UK, i'll buy a new phone if I need to (which I will need to)

I think most people feel like that when they hear something they like by him. I didn't think I should like his music when I began to listen to it. If you want any stuff by him, throw me a PM.

What other FFVII things have we yet to get then bar CC and BC. There's the Dirge phone game and, and wasn't there another cell-phone game where you play as a SOLDIER? I remember hearing about it around the time of E3

Reno looks awesome. He was the one figure I was annoyed that they didn't make, and no he's coming. I AM HAPPY!

And both my Cloud and Sephiroth figures are still fine, and I've been dicking about with them since I got them. The only problem I noticed is that my Clouds hair wasn't glued, it's no problem, just that I can pull it out with great ease.
