What upsets me the most is PS4 is just catering to the graphic whore crowd while setting the gameplay in the backburner.

Isn't this the third generation of Sony consoles that has done exactly that? Remember the Emotion Engine? Or the revolutionary Cell Processor™ that promised 15 billion micropixels per nanosecond or whatever the fuck that was supposed to do? If you're expecting anything other than a shinier version of the norm from Sony, you're fooling yourself. Gamers are slaves to hype like few others, and Sony knows it.
